Based on the massive success of inaugural OIC Series Events previously, it is our great pleasure to present the 4th Offshore Indonesia Convention 2016 which is going to be staged on 13-14 October 2016, Jakarta, Indonesia with the theme "Strengthening International Cooperation in Indonesia's Offshore E&P Industry". This year's high-profile event will bring 350+ senior executives and stake holders from NOCs and IOCs, Government Ministers, Investors, Oilfield Services Companies, Drilling Contractors, EPC Contractors, Geo Survey Companies, Engineering Consulting, Equipment & Technical Solution, Investment Banks & Funds, Legal Firms etc.

Indonesia is the most populous country in Southeast Asia and the fourth most populous in the world. Petroleum continues to account for the most significant, though decreasing, share of Indonesia's continues to account for the most significant, though decreasing, share of Indonesia's energy mix. Indonesia has 3.9 Bbbl of proven oil reserves as of January 2014. Aging infrastructure and fields suggest the country will struggle to meet production targets in the short term. Total oil production continued to decline from a high of nearly 1.7 MMb/d in 1991 to just under 1.0 MMb/d in 2014. Despite the numerous industry environment and regulatory changes,  investment in the oil and gas industry in Indonesia reached $12.8 billion in 2014. In 2014 more than 30 new oil and gas contracts were entered. Indonesia is ranked eighth in world gas production, with proven reserves of 108 tcf in 2014. This ranks 11th largest in the world and the largest in the Asia Pacific region.

4th Offshore Indonesia Convention 2016 will examine the latest regulation in building an attractive investment climate for foreign and domestic investors, offshore E&P projects, local content and cabotage, deepwater project investments, leading upstream field development technology, gas market potential & structure and oil & gas infrastructure development.
